Coffee Packaging Design Insights for your Inspiration

Every morning coffee is very much a part of our daily routine. Sipping a cup of coffee and indulging in its heavenly aroma makes your everyday beautiful. Coffee beans and its quality matters a lot to discover a perfect coffee.

Just like the coffee, even its packaging design should also be enticing and attractive. The coffee packaging design should be linked by visual language based on around typographic simplicity and overall creativity. Here packaging design is work of art, and no one wants to spoil their first expression when it is introduced into the market.

The best designing is one which satisfies being functional as well as eye-catchy, as it should ensure safety during transportation as well as look attractive. Irrespective of the type of coffee weather its ground, flavoured, or whole bean significant role of packaging is to sustain the aroma and freshness of the coffee, which is done by using stand up pouch with zip-locks which will avoid moisture, heat and oxygen contact with coffee powder or glass bottles. Whether you choose cutting-edge or traditional materials, good packaging keeps your coffee fresh and protected from the moment it leaves the warehouse.

Stories are fascinating, and hence, packaging design should communicate a specific story through designs. Stories can be where the beans are being harvested, handmade, eco-friendly any USP which adds value to your brand. Packaging should promote values, culture and traditional stories this will not only bring customers close towards your product, but they will associate towards brand also.

Help your customers with valuable content on the packaging which will focus on explaining differences between each blend, details regarding each coffee types hiding inside the bag, educate them about different roasts, and consider adding few brewing suggestions on the back.
Instead of writing out the best way to brew a cup of your coffee, you could use clean graphics like tablespoons and water droplets.

Simple, minimalist graphics can convey the necessary information without creating visual clutter on the packaging. Illustrative tempting images of a cup full of brewed coffee or hand cupped with beans will create a craving for the consumption of coffee. The movement will create a sensory experience for the viewer, drawing them to your product and prompting them to read more.
When you begin designing your logo and labels, the most crucial factor is to come up with something original that embodies the spirit of your brand. The eye-catching tagline, which is soothing and enticing, can add value to your packaging design.
When it comes about color, it is not necessary to use multiple colors unless its personality is entirely distinct. However, minimalistic colors and designs are appealing and as stunning as vibrant labels and can convey brand personality as modern, urban and chic. A gold and black color scheme will work well with modern and luxurious branding. The matte finish can feel modern and natural; a gloss coating might connect with sophistication.
