Aster Farms Day To Night Pre-Roll Pack
Aster Farms wanted to appeal to all cannabis consumers, whether they're a grizzled vet or a total newbie, so they developed Day to Night, a prepackaged set of pre-rolls made up of different strains with recommendations based on time of day.
The dark metal tins feature a sunset on the front and a moonrise over the same landscape with a minimal color palette. Inside, the pre-rolls come arranged to follow the day from left-to-right, with each product accompanied by a description, sunrise, radiant, sunset, moonlight, and outer space, as well as an icon in contrasting red with a short description of the typical effect. The outer packaging is a flat pouch with ziplock.
The El Camino Stand Up Edibles Pack
After Kiva wanted to move forward with illustrations, they pondered ways to keep up with the cannabis regulations which require edible products to not only be sealed in a child resistant packaging - an opaque
stand up pouch with a childproof zipper but also to follow the labeling checklist for both the primary and informational panel.
The winning idea was a diamond-shape at the top half of the bag that houses all of the branding and necessary information. A few requirements they had to meet were the font sizes could be no smaller 6 point in the panels, a list of ingredients in descending order by weight or volume, and the universal California symbol for cannabis displayed front and center. They purposefully kept all the messaging framed tightly within the diamond shape while allowing the illustrations to take as much space as possible on the packaging. The design is so stunning and tie each location and specific effect
